Julie Hollien, Ph.d.

Julie is an Associate Professor in the School of Biological Sciences. She did her undergraduate work at Reed College and then her PhD with Susan Marqusee at the University of California, Berkeley. After her postdoc work with Jonathan Weissman at the University of California, San Francisco, Julie moved to Utah in 2008 to start her own cell biology lab.

Donghwi (Danny) Bae

Danny was an undergraduate at the University of Utah and is now working on his PhD. He studies how ER stress affects protein aggregation and degradation.

KAtie Piscopo

Katie joined the lab in 2019 and is working on the mechanisms of how protein aggregates are cleared during ER stress. She is the one with the Spongebob sneakers.
